It's time for the annual calendar tea towel competition on spoonflower! This year I decided to work with my "fun florals" group and make a playground for the happy bees. I like making tea towels in coordinating groups so I put 4 designs together sized to fit one yard of cotton linen canvas (which is 54" wide). Cut apart, hem the sides and you are good to go! They make a nice hostess or holiday gift when folded and tied up with a ribbon.
My big dilemma...which color pattern? I may order both...
So happy to see my umbrellas peeking through in one of the circles announcing the umbrella challenge voting time on spoonflower.com! Makes my day! Mine is in the lower left...the girly pink, yellow and orange one. Everyone needs a little sunshine colors on a rainy day!
It's everywhere...orange! I love it! Fall has always been my favorite season. I loved the feeling of a new start at school and the smell of fall leaves. In the midwest we went to cider mills and picked apples. And enjoyed the fabulous colors on the trees as each day brought a new palette of leaf oranges, reds, browns and golds against the sky. So today I thought I'd share the October image from my Vibrantly Grown calendar. Gourds and pumpkins. Oranges, green and black. Getting ready for pumpkin carving and roasting seeds!
